The short version: CIPAScan is an automated technical scanning tool. It is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and a scan result is not a determination of legal compliance or violation.

What the service does

CIPAScan fetches a webpage you submit and checks its content against a list of known third-party tracking, analytics, chat, and consent-management signatures. Results describe what was technically observed at the time of the scan — nothing more.

No legal advice

Findings are technical observations, not legal conclusions. Whether any finding creates liability under CIPA, CCPA, or any other law depends on facts a scan cannot see. Consult a licensed attorney for legal advice about your specific situation.

Accounts and billing

Monthly plans renew automatically and can be cancelled anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period.
The founding-member lifetime plan is a one-time payment, limited to the first 20 customers, non-transferable.
Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your payment card details.

Acceptable use

You may only submit URLs for domains you own or are authorized to scan. Automated or excessive scanning requests may be rate-limited or blocked.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is." Automated scans can miss issues or produce false positives; we make no guarantee of completeness or accuracy.
